Introduction

Komipo Van Phong Power Service Limited Liability Company (KVPS)

KVPS was established on 23 October 2020 as an O&M (Operation & Maintenance) service company with 100% investment capital of KOMIPO (Korea Midland Power Company).

Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) provides about 10% of Korea’s electricity as one of public power generation companies in Korea which spun off from state-owned power company, KEPCO, in 2001. KOMIPO has 7 operating power plants and conducts several overseas power projects in various areas such as Indonesia, United States, Sweden, etc. KOMIPO supplies high quality, stable power through thermal power generation as well as wind, photovoltaic, solid refuse fuel, and fuel cell power generation.

After the construction of the Van Phong 1 project (1,320MW: 660MW*2units), KVPS operates the power facilities on behalf of BOT company for 25 years, from coal unloading to boiler and turbine operation, electricity production.

KVPS will successfully conduct O&M business and ensure a stable electrical power supply based on its technology and experience that has been proven for its expertise to operate power plants in Korea and other countries around the world.
