Safe and Stable Power Supply

KVPS will establish a systematic operating system for safe and stable operation of power plant. We will make an effort for safe and stable power supply for the public by concentrating capacities on year-round stable operations, let alone peak seasons.

Systematic and scientific maintenance and management systems based on IT technology for power generation facility will be in place for preventive checks and maintenance. The Power Facility will be managed driven by preventive measures whereby maintenance items and failure maintenance histories will be statistically and analytically managed. Problematic facilities will be explored and addressed through the on-site reviews of the employees and management. This will secure reliability in the Power Facility. Risk factors will be removed in advance through stronger support for work sites by technical engineers.

Ethical Management

We aim to strengthen our ethical management system for sustainable growth. Ethical management is securing the foundation for sustainable management system by implementing ethical management within the company. In order to achieve it, mid to long-term strategies will be established; spreading the ethical culture to become a clean and incorrupt organization, improving the infrastructure to strengthen anti-corruption initiatives, and reinforcing monitoring on integrity
and ethics.

We will form a corporate culture of ethics foundation, respect human rights and strengthen transparent management. In order to improve transparency in the entire process of procurement, we will discover possible risk factors in procurement stages, introduce relevant systems, and thus prevent contract-related risks. We will provide training programs to prevent human rights violations in advance and to improve human rights sensitivity.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Starting in 2021, KVPS has been promoting its “How we will do” project, setting a goal to become a local social contribution enterprise.

We are striving to achieve the two goals of creating a sustainable company along with development of the local community considering three basic principles which are Sustainability, Accountability and Transparency. All CSR activities are conducted and developed through in-depth communication with local communities.

Under the vision of the company “Energy Leader together with people”, we identify social needs and make plans all CSR programs in detail every year. We are carrying out and developing various programs such as improvement of living conditions for vulnerable people, improvement of education conditions for students or supporting pregnants or newborn babies, and so on.
